Katrina MountfortOn Sunday morning from 11-12 in the Downstairs Bar we’ll be launching Forbidden Alliance by Katrina Mountfort. This is the second book in the Blueprint trilogy that takes us to a future in which men and women are almost identical, and personal relationships are forbidden. More than sixteen years have passed since Caia and Mac, now renamed Cathy and Michael, fled their oppressive lives in the Citidome in Future Perfect (the first of the trilogy), although the plight of those who remain behind is never far from their minds. In addition to the issues explored in the first book, Forbidden Alliance poses additional questions, including those of leadership, family loyalties and whether it is possible to justify the sacrifice of human lives for the greater good.

Along with the drinks and books, Katrina will be on hand to read from her book and sign copies. What’s more there’ll be Parma Violets (Katrina’s favourite – so please come along to stop her from eating them all).

Katrina MountfortOn Saturday afternoon from 5-6pm in the Downstairs Bar we’ll be launching Freedom’s Prisoners by Katrina Mountfort. This is the third book in the Blueprint trilogy that takes us to a future in which men and women are almost identical, and personal relationships are forbidden. Tensions have escalated since the breakout. Michael and his army of rebels may have won the first battle in their fight against the Citidome authorities, but can they win a war? The Citidomes are fighting back and no-one is safe any more as RotorFighters rain down fire on defenceless villages destroying them and their inhabitants. Freedom’s Prisoners explores betrayal, guilt, hope and endurance in an explosive conclusion to the Blueprint trilogy.

Along with the drinks and books, Katrina will be on hand to read from her book and sign copies.
