Apr 26 all-day

We will be at the AuthorCon UK fair at the MadLab in Manchester on April 26th. The winners of the Wishing Shelf Independent Book Awards will be announced there, and Bookworm and Arteess: Conflict are both finalists in separate categories. We will be selling copies of all of our titles, and some of our authors have promised to drop in to sign copies of their books. Apparently, anyone who buys an advance ticket from the AuthorCon UK website will get a goody bag with all sorts of stuff in it. There’s a raffle too. Nov 13 @ 4:00 pm – Nov 15 @ 5:00 pm

Elsewhen Press

As usual, we will be at Novacon in Nottingham in November (try saying that after a few pan-galactic gargleblasters!).

A panoply of our authors will be joining us, and participating in various panels. We will be co-hosting a party early on Saturday evening (in the downstairs bar of course). We will be in the Dealers Room so come and say Hello, browse our books (and please buy some – it makes the authors so happy, it’s a delight to see their eyes light up and their little faces beam with pleasure; especially so close to Christmas, it might mean they can afford to put a log on the fire after all on Christmas Day – no pressure!). We will also be launching three paperbacks at Novacon this year:
Sailor to a Siren by Zoë Sumra,
SmartYellow™ by J A Christy, and
Forbidden Alliance, the second book in Katrina Mountfort’s dystopian Blueprint trilogy.
There will be copies of the incredible and innovative An Android Awakes by Mike French and Karl Brown, which is published on Friday 13th (just to tempt fate!).
We will also have exclusive advance copies for sale of Bookworm IV: Full Circle, the fourth and final book in the Bookworm series by Christopher Nuttall, which is officially published on the 23rd November.

There will be flying saucers too 😉

Katrina MountfortOn Sunday morning from 11-12 in the Downstairs Bar we’ll be launching Forbidden Alliance by Katrina Mountfort. This is the second book in the Blueprint trilogy that takes us to a future in which men and women are almost identical, and personal relationships are forbidden. More than sixteen years have passed since Caia and Mac, now renamed Cathy and Michael, fled their oppressive lives in the Citidome in Future Perfect (the first of the trilogy), although the plight of those who remain behind is never far from their minds. In addition to the issues explored in the first book, Forbidden Alliance poses additional questions, including those of leadership, family loyalties and whether it is possible to justify the sacrifice of human lives for the greater good.

Along with the drinks and books, Katrina will be on hand to read from her book and sign copies. What’s more there’ll be Parma Violets (Katrina’s favourite – so please come along to stop her from eating them all).

Katrina MountfortOn Saturday afternoon from 5-6pm in the Downstairs Bar we’ll be launching Freedom’s Prisoners by Katrina Mountfort. This is the third book in the Blueprint trilogy that takes us to a future in which men and women are almost identical, and personal relationships are forbidden. Tensions have escalated since the breakout. Michael and his army of rebels may have won the first battle in their fight against the Citidome authorities, but can they win a war? The Citidomes are fighting back and no-one is safe any more as RotorFighters rain down fire on defenceless villages destroying them and their inhabitants. Freedom’s Prisoners explores betrayal, guilt, hope and endurance in an explosive conclusion to the Blueprint trilogy.

Along with the drinks and books, Katrina will be on hand to read from her book and sign copies.
