These are the terms and conditions under which we (Elsewhen Press, an imprint of Alnpete Limited) are offering to sell you our books. Alnpete Limited is a limited company registered in England and Wales No. 3574096. Our registered office is Summit House, Highfield Road, Dartford, Kent, DA1 2JY. The prices of our books, as displayed with a £, are in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and inclusive of UK VAT at the Zero rate.
Delivery costs are dependent on destination and size of the order, are calculated when you place an order and shown as part of the total amount due before you confirm payment.
For online orders, your credit/debit card transaction is handled securely by PayPal. If we owe you a full or partial refund we will arrange a refund to your account through PayPal.
If you need to return an item, please read this section. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are unhappy with a book purchased from Elsewhen Press because it has been damaged in transit or is not what you ordered, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of the date you received it, and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the book. Specific information applies to the return of damaged and incorrect books. See Return a Damaged or Incorrect Book. We are unable to exchange books that are not damaged or incorrect.

Specific rules apply regarding refunds of delivery charges - see our Refunds Policy. In the event of Elsewhen Press sending you a replacement for a damaged or incorrect book, you must return the original book to Elsewhen Press within 30 days. Elsewhen Press reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement book to the payment card used for the original order if you do not return the original book to us within 30 days of the date on which Elsewhen Press confirms we will issue a replacement. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
This section explains what to do if you've received a damaged or incorrect book from Elsewhen Press.
If you take delivery of an Elsewhen Press package and the contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the book(s) to us within 30 days of receipt for exchange.
As soon as you find out we've sent you an incorrect book, send the incorrect book back to us. If the book was received in addition to a book(s) you ordered and you were charged for it, we will make sure you are refunded for it. If the book was received in place of a book you ordered but you were charged the correct price for the book you ordered we will send you the correct book as soon as we can. If you were charged for the incorrect book and the price is different to that of the correct book we will refund the charge for the incorrect book and you can re-order the correct book.
Note: in the event of Elsewhen Press sending you a replacement for a damaged or incorrect book, you must return the original book to Elsewhen Press within 30 days of our e-mail confirming the issue of the replacement book. Provided you return the original book to us within the 30 days, you will have nothing more to pay. If you do not return the original book to us by the end of the 30 day period, we reserve the right to charge an amount equal to the price of your original order to the payment card you used for the order.
This section describes how we calculate refunds. Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights.
When you send your book back to us, we will process the returned book then notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund by the same method of payment you used for the original order within 21 days of our receipt of your return.
If you are returning a book for exchange, in accordance with our returns policy, because it is damaged, we will pay your costs of returning it to us (by refunding your return postage costs). Elsewhen Press will check all books returned as damaged. In the event we find no fault, we reserve the right to recover our fees and expenses from you.
If you are returning a book because of an error on our part, in accordance with our returns policy, we will refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the book to you and pay your costs of returning it to us (by refunding your return postage costs).
By law, customers located in the European Union also have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. For more information see your statutory rights. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, and there has been no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the book and the cost of sending the book to you as follows:
We will not refund your costs in returning the book to us unless you return the item to us because of an error on our part.
By law, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item is delivered. This does NOT apply to personalised items, which includes signed books in which the message includes a name specified by you.
To cancel your purchase within the seven-working-day cooling-off period, please package the relevant book(s) securely and send it to us so that we receive it within seven working days of the day after the date that the book was delivered to you.
Please note that we cannot accept returns if you deliver them to us by hand.

Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the books to us (unless we delivered the book to you in error, or you are returning the book for an exchange because it is damaged). If we do not receive the book back from you with the delivery slip, we may arrange for collection of the book from your residence at your cost.
As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund
the relevant part of the purchase price for that book together with the book's
normal postage charge - we cannot refund any priority, express or courier component

When ordering goods from Elsewhen Press for delivery outside of the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Elsewhen Press, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of the contents of your order by product type. For instance, orders will generally be listed in a way similar to the following example:

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.
Also, we may provide certain order, delivery and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.
